Featuring prominent policymakers, industry leaders and sectorial experts, including keynote speeches from MEP Jordi Solé and Director General of DG CONNECT Roberto Viola and a panel discussion led by EY-Parthenon with the participation of ETNO, the event provided innovative insights and cutting-edge solutions to ensure Europe’s continued and rapid 5G rollout.

EWIA Online Event: The Next 5G Years
Representatives from the European Wireless Infrastructure Association (EWIA) and the European institutions discussed how independent and neutral host wireless infrastructure can contribute to 5G rollout and to the Next Generation EU recovery plan and how wholesale infrastructure providers can help improve connectivity in Europe. The event was supported by MEP Pilar del Castillo and featured an intervention by Vesa Terävä, Director in the European Commission, as well as a panel discussion on 5G and the associated network deployment implications and how EWIA members can help make that a reality.
